Overview #
Service transitions define the allowed status-change events that can be referenced when configuring transition-based charging. A transition represents movement from one service status to another, such as moving from Pre-Active to Active, or from Suspended to Active.
These transition definitions are used when pricing needs to react to a change in service state. For example, a transition can be referenced when applying an activation fee, reactivation fee, or another one-time charge that should occur only when a service moves through a specific lifecycle change.
Prerequisites #
- Service statuses should already be configured before service transitions are created.
Service Transitions Panel #
The Service Transitions panel on the left displays the available service transitions. Selecting a transition loads its details on the right so you can review or update it.
