Webhook Monitoring is found in Operations / Monitor / Webhook Monitor

Overview #

The Webhook Monitor screen is used to review webhook traffic and delivery outcomes. The screen is primarily used for monitoring, troubleshooting, and retrying failed outbound webhooks.

Webhook Monitor Panel #

The Webhook Monitor Panel on the left allows you to select existing records so that you can view and edit their details on the panel to the right.

The list shows webhook log entries. Use the Sent / Received switch to choose whether you want to review outbound webhook attempts or inbound webhook traffic.

Creates a follow-up attempt that is tied to the original webhook log entry

Fields #

  • Status: shows the current delivery state of the webhook entry.
  • Description: provides additional context about the webhook event or outcome.
  • Log Identifier: identifies the webhook log entry.
  • Created Date: shows when the webhook log entry was created.
  • Retry For: shows the relationship between a retried webhook and the original webhook entry when applicable.

Sent Versus Received View #

Sent shows outbound webhook attempts.Received shows inbound callback or received webhook traffic. Switching views refreshes the list and applies the appropriate monitor filter set. The data shown in the list differs depending on whether the user is reviewing outbound or inbound activity.

Retry Behavior #

The Retry action is intended for failed sent webhooks.

Retry is only available when the selected webhook:

  • is in the Sent view
  • is in a failed state
  • has not already been retried through the tracked retry-user or retry-process path

Retrying creates a follow-up attempt that is tied to the original webhook log entry.

Monitor And Troubleshooting Use #

The screen is useful for reviewing webhook status, timing, and retry chains.

The Retry For value on some records helps users understand the relationship between original and retried webhook entries. The screen is intended for investigation and follow-up rather than webhook configuration itself.
