Last verified with: 10.8.6.0

File Transfers are located in Operations / Archives / File Transfer

Overview #

The File Transfer screen is used to review file-move and delivery events. In LogiSense Billing, file transfers are typically used when generated files need to be delivered to external destinations or downstream processes, such as transfer locations used for invoice delivery, reports, exports, or other integration-driven file workflows.

This screen is intended for monitoring and troubleshooting file-transfer outcomes. It helps administrators confirm whether a file was transferred successfully, identify when a transfer failed, and review the source and destination details involved in the transfer.

Selecting a transfer event displays additional details on the right.

File Transfer Panel #

The File Transfer Panel on the left allows you to select existing records so that you can view and edit their details on the panel to the right. This screen is review-oriented and does not expose add/edit actions from the list.

File Transfer Details #

The information in this section reflects the currently selected record. From here you can review the current configuration and make changes where permitted.

Fields #

  • Identity: controls the Identity setting for the selected record.
  • Status: indicates the outcome or current state of the transfer.
  • Start Date: shows when the selected process started.

Troubleshooting Use #

This screen is useful for confirming whether a file was transferred successfully. Date, status, and error details help administrators trace failed or incomplete transfers. The screen is best used together with the related source configuration, such as transfer locations or upstream process configuration.
