Overview #
The Audit Log screen is used to review audited changes and actions in the application. The screen is intended for investigation, traceability, and operational review. Selecting a log entry shows both summary details and the underlying audit payload.
Audit Log Panel #
The Audit Log Panel on the left allows you to select existing records so that you can view and edit their details. The list is ordered with the newest entries first. Selecting an entry loads the full audit details into the right panel.
Filtering The Log #
Filtering is useful when users need to focus on a smaller set of activity, such as changes for a particular entity, a specific action type, or a known time period.
Using the filter controls helps users move more quickly from a broad audit history to the specific entry they want to review in detail.
Audit Log Details #
The information in this section reflects the currently selected record. From here you can review the current configuration and make changes where permitted.
Fields #
- Entity Type: identifies the type of record or business object that was affected.
- Entity ID: identifies the specific record that was audited.
- User / Portal User: identifies who performed the action. The label can differ depending on whether the audited action came from a portal user or an internal user.
- Audit Action: shows what action occurred, such as a create, update, or delete operation.
- Date: shows when the audited action was recorded.
Audit Data Viewer #
The JSON/code viewer shows the detailed audit payload for the selected entry.
If no detailed audit payload is available, the screen shows an informational empty-state message instead of JSON content. This viewer is useful for understanding exactly what data was captured in the audit record.
